And that includes the Tampa-Montreal ExRays scenario. But one bottom line hasn’t changed: The Rays can’t—and ultimately won’t—stay in poorly-positioned St. Petersburg. Not in this hybrid market that is asymmetrical, mass-transit challenged, yada, yada. If Tampa, the business hub of the area and where the Bucs and Bolts thrive, doesn’t ultimately happen, then Charlotte, Nashville or Las Vegas will.
