Rumor has it that some Republicans are trying to recruit black Georgia football icon Herschel Walker, a former Heisman Trophy winner, to reclaim that key Senate seat. Walker has a decades-long friendship with Donald Trump dating back to when Walker played for the New Jersey Generals of the USFL, owned by Trump, in the 1980s.
